This week marks the last week of the semester! It's hard to believe the academic year is coming to a close, and we are so sad that we won't be able to gather for graduation this year. Still, we are a #ForesterFamily and are still connecting as best we can during the pandemic.
On Thursday, April 30, all of the seniors, coaches, Forester staff, and a bunch of alumni gathered for the Senior Forester Game Plan event. Football and women's basketball shared photos from the event on their social media. It was a great program that talked about how to use LinkedIn, how to navigate the career landscape, and then in breakout groups, seniors each team got to chat with alumni who told them about their job search and how they got started in their careers.
Men's basketball is reflecting on their great season by sharing some impressive stats that they accomplished during the past year.
Birthdays have been hard for people in lockdown. Volleyball shared a post of one of their team members, celebrating her and her birthday.
And since it's past May 1st, t teams are allowed to announce and share their commitments for next years team! Men's golf got started, sharing a post of a recent commit. It's exciting to start thinking about the Fall with the hope that things will be back to normal by August.
We truly hope that everything will begin going back to normal for us on campus and across the country soon. If you're sharing and connecting on social media, please tag us and use the hashtag #ForesterFamily so we can see your posts!
