The Lake Forest men were led by senior Lionel Whitehead, who completed the 8-kilometer course with a career-best time of 30:22.54. He was 14th out of 32 competitors, one place and 0.42 seconds ahead of Forester sophomore Bart Brophy.

Harper College finished first in the women's team standings while Beloit was second. The College of Dupage men were victorious ahead of Harper.

The Foresters will travel to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse next Saturday for the Jim Drews and Tori Neubauer Invitationals.
