The Forester cross country teams were in action on Saturday at the Gil Dodds Invitational, which was hosted by Wheaton College at St. James Farm in Warrenville, Illinois.

Freshman Atlas Hampton-Gregory was the top finisher for the Lake Forest women and completed the 6-kilometer course in 29:55.2. They were followed by Jacquelyn Han, who finished in 30:33.7.

On the men's side junior Alec Macartney led the Foresters with an 8-kilometer time of 30:39.4. Sophomore Bart Brophy was next on the squad in 31:34.8.

The University of Chicago women and Washington University-St. Louis men were the team champions. Lake Forest placed 18th in the women's team standings and had just three runners compete in the men's race.

The Foresters will be off next weekend before running at the Aurora Invite on Saturday, October 1.
