Life is still moving forward, even when we are stuck inside. Taking to social media has been a great way for Foresters to connect with each other, and our teams are no different. There have been many creative posts made recently that show that our student-athletes, both past and present, have been making the best of their stay-at-home orders.
Women's basketball has been doing a campaign on both their Instagram and Twitter accounts featuring baby pictures of their team members. They make it into a game of "Guess Who?" for their followers, showing the baby picture and only revealing who it is later in the day.
The cross country and track team has been doing senior shout-outs every day for the last couple weeks, highlighting and thanking their seniors.
Swimming and diving has been getting in on the popular #TBT, or Throwback Thursday, action on Instagram. Recently, they featured pictures and video of the team's training trip over winter break.
#FallbackFriday (or #FBF), the sister to #ThrowbackThursday, has been women's soccer's go-to hashtag. The team features a different alumnus every Friday to showcase what they are doing now.
Finally, Coach Katie Rueffer's dog, Murphy, took a socially-distant trip to campus the other day. He misses all the students!
As always, we hope that you and your family are well and staying healthy during COVID-19. We'd love to see what you're up to! Please tag us in your social media posts and use the hashtag #ForesterFamily so that we can find your photos and updates. You could be featured in next week's post!
