The Lake Forest College women's tennis team was defeated 7-2 by Grinnell College at the Racquet Club of Lake Bluff on Sunday.
Junior Margaret Bugnacki contributed to both of the Foresters' points, beginning with an 8-6 victory with classmate Maria Jose Campos at #1 doubles.
Bugnacki dropped the first set 6-3 at #2 singles but took the second 7-5. She won the third set super tiebreaker 10-7 to even her singles record on the season at 3-3.
The Foresters are now 2-4 overall and 1-1 in Midwest Conference play this year. Grinnell improved to 1-1 overall and 1-0 in the league.
Lake Forest will continue conference play on the road next Saturday, traveling to Monmouth College for a 9:00 a.m. contest and Illinois College for a 3:00 p.m. start.
