Lake Forest College women's hockey player Michelle Greeneway was named Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday after scoring three goals and adding an assist in a weekend sweep of visiting Concordia University Wisconsin.
Greeneway, a senior forward, scored twice and added an assist in the Foresters' 5-2 victory Friday night. She started the scoring three minutes and 12 seconds into the contest and netted another goal to break a 2-2 tie at the 5:07 mark of the third period. Greeneway also assisted on the final goal of the night, a power play score with 3:14 to play in the contest.
The Foresters finished off the sweep of the Falcons with a 4-2 triumph on Saturday. Greeneway's goal at the 8:17 mark of the opening period broke a 1-1 tie and gave Lake Forest the lead for good.
