Lake Forest’s tennis courts were located on Middle Campus (directly behind what is now Young Hall) until the construction of the Sports Center and adjacent courts in 1968. It was part of the College’s efforts to move all athletic facilities to South Campus. After playing most of their matches off campus in the late 1990s and early 2000s due to a large crack that found its way through all four courts, the Forester tennis programs benefited from a generous donation from Russell & Christina Fisher. Construction of new courts, including a prominent Forester logo, was completed in the summer of 2002.
