The Forester track team finished off the 2022 season on Saturday, day two of the Midwest Conference Outdoor Championship Meet at Beloit College.
Graduate student Audrey Paglia and junior Madeline Morland scored points for Lake Forest. Paglia placed sixth in the 800m run with a time of 2:28.98 while Morland earned All-MWC honors by finishing third in the 5000m run in 18:32.03. Morland, who was also the runner-up in Friday's 1500m run, joins Yaneli Guajardo as the only runners in team history to be named all-conference in multiple events at the same meet. She is also the first to accomplish the fear at the league's outdoor championships.
Like Paglia, seniors Christian Reyes and Mathieu Norcross closed out their collegiate careers on Saturday. Reyes was 13th in the 3000m steeplechase in 11:21.90 while Norcross placed 11th in the 800m run in 2:04.21, a career-best time that also ranks him fourth in team history.
Freshman Jake Sharifi also ran the 800 on Saturday and placed 20th with a time of 2:14.89.
Ripon College was the team champion on the men's side while Monmouth College finished atop the women's standings.
