The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2021 Division III All-Academic Teams on Thursday and the Lake Forest men and women appeared near the top of the list.
To earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team status, the cumulative team grade point average of a program must be at least 3.1 on a 4.0 scale.
With a mark of 3.716, the Lake Forest men ranked tied-for-third out of the 162 teams listed while the Forester women's team's cumulative GPA of 3.785 was good for seventh out of 215.
Both teams are coached by James Akita.
