The Lake Forest College men's hockey team was defeated 3-0 by visiting Milwaukee School of Engineering Friday night. M.S.O.E. enters the weekend ranked 10th in the nation.
The Raiders got on the scoreboard at the 9:04 mark of the opening period, doubled its lead 79 seconds into the second, and netted the final goal of the contest while on the power play with 3:44 to play in the second stanza.
Forester sophomore goaltender Brendon Sullivan stopped 32 of 35 shots on goal in the game, including 12 in both the first and third periods.
Lake Forest fell to 4-17-1 overall and 4-12-1 in Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association play. The Raiders are now 18-3-1 overall and 15-1-1 in the league.
The same two teams will face off at the Kern Center in Milwaukee tomorrow night at 7:00.
