The Lake Forest College men's hockey team tied host Northland College 4-4 Friday night. Sophomore Phil Bushbacher scored two of the Foresters' goals and assisted on two others.
Bushbacher now has eight points on five goals and three assists in the last three games. His first score on Friday tied the game 1-1 at the 8:29 mark of the second period. Sophomore Justin Crawford and senior Anthony Ventura were each credited with an assist.
After the home team regained the lead two minutes later, Bushbacher and sophomore Ethan Goldberg set up freshman Kevin Spotts' first career goal at 14:37 mark.
Northland scored again at 16:05 and led 3-2 going into the third period.
Goldberg netted his second goal of 2010-11 at the 8:33 mark of the third with Bushbacher and Ventura each pickup us his second assist of the contest. Bushbacher then gave the Foresters their first and only lead of the game with 3:09 to play in regulation. Sophomore Tom Bark assisted on Bushbacher's team-high seventh goal of the year. Bark leads the squad with 14 points and 11 assists.
The LumberJacks pulled eves with 1:18 on the third period clock and neither side scored again.
The same teams will face off again tomorrow afternoon at 2:30.
