The 2014 All-Midwest Conference men's soccer teams were released on Friday and Lake Forest College had three players make the list. Kyle Kraus and Elyas Ingram were named to the First Team and Dylan Hartman was a Second Team selection.
Kraus, a senior who played defense for most of the year, earned First Team All-MWC accolades for the second year in a row. He helped the Foresters limit their opponents to just 26 goals in 19 games overall and to only six scores in 10 conference contests. Kraus moved to forward late in the year and had three goals and two assists in the final four games.
Ingram, a freshman forward, led the Foresters with six goals and ranked second on the team with 15 points on the season. He had four goals and two assists in league play and two of his goals on the year were game-winners.
Hartman, a junior midfielder, led the squad with 16 points and six assists. All five of his goals were scored during conference contests, including a pair of game-winners.
Lake Forest finished the season 7-10-2 overall but 6-2-2 in league play. The Foresters advanced to the four-team MWC Tournament for the fourth year in a row but were defeated in the semifinals.
