The American Hockey Coaches Association released the 2015 Division III CCM Women's Hockey All-Americans Thursday night and, for the third year in a row, Lake Forest College's Michelle Greeneway was a Second Team West selection.
Greeneway, a junior forward, led the Foresters with 18 goals and 30 points this season. She also ranked 10th in the nation in goals per game and 19th in points per contest. Greeneway recorded at least one point in 17 of 24 appearances, including eight straight games in the middle of the season as well as each of the last five. Her goal with 3.3 seconds on the clock in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Slaats Cup Final gave Lake Forest a 2-1 victory and sent the team to the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row.
In just her third season, Greeneway became the program's career leader in goals on January 30 and finished the year tied for first in team history with 105 points.
A Second Team West All-American as a freshman and a First Team choice last year, Greeneway was already the only player in team history to be recognized among the best in the country in multiple seasons. She was also a First Team All-American as a soccer player last fall.
Lake Forest finished the year 14-9-3 overall and 11-5-2 in NCHA play.
