The Forester women's soccer team was defeated 3-0 at home by Coe College on Saturday on day two of the 2016 Associated Colleges of the Midwest Soccer Showcase.
The Kohawks out-shot the home team 9-6 in the first half and scored the only goal of the period with 11:05 on the clock.
Coe added an insurance goal at the 58:21 mark and tacked on one more with 8:30 to play in the contest. The visitors attempted eight shots to the Foresters' three after halftime.
The loss left Lake Forest with a record of 2-2-0 on the season while Coe improved to 1-3-0.
The Foresters will play their next game at North Park University Wednesday night at 7:00.
