Led by senior Alex Dunn, Lake Forest had the top four scores and defeated host Edgewood College 363 to 484 in a dual match on Sunday.
Dunn's round of 87 on the 5,820-yard, par-72 course at Odana Hills Golf Course in Madison, Wisconsin, was one shot better than Forester freshman Anhayte Guajardo's 88. Sophomore Frankie Corrado was third on the team and overall with a score of 91 and freshman Kalay Kotasek's 97 ranked fourth in the field.
It was Lake Forest's fourth dual match victory in as many contests this year and the team is 7-0 in such events since becoming a varsity sport last year.
The Foresters' next event will be the Elmhurst College Invite on Tuesday. The tournament will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Brook Golf Club in Oak Brook, Illinois.
