D3football com released its 2021 Preseason All America teams on Monday and Lake Forest College's A.J. Jackson was a First Team honoree for the second straight season.
Jackson, a junior, was D3football.com's First Team All-American kick returner following each of his first two seasons and a member of the D3football.com Team of the Week twice during the 2019 season. He was also a First Team All-Midwest Conference honoree at returner and wide receiver after leading the league in all-purpose yards as a freshman. No All-MWC teams were selected in 2020-21 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With 589 punt return yards, four punt return touchdowns, 23.6 yards per punt return, and 29.3 yards per kickoff return in just 13 career games, Jackson is the Foresters' all-time leader in all four categories. He led the nation with 22.5 yards per punt return, three punt return touchdowns, and 939 combined kick return yards as a freshman in 2019 before returning five punts and three kickoffs a combined 236 yards with another score last spring.
