Lake Forest College women's tennis player Billie Rodman was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Tuesday. Rodman was 6-0 in singles and doubles matches combined over the weekend as the Foresters won 9-0 at Illinois College, 7-2 at Monmouth College, and 9-0 at Knox College.
Rodman, a freshman, teamed with classmate and #2 doubles partner Allison Watts on an 8-0 victory at Illinois College Saturday morning. She followed that up with a 6-1, 6-2 triumph at #1 singles.
The Foresters traveled to Monmouth Saturday afternoon. Rodman and Watts won 8-4 in doubles and she took both sets in singles by the same 6-1 score.
Rodman and Watts blanked the #2 doubles team from Knox 8-0 on Sunday and she posted another convincing victory at the top of the singles lineup, defeated the Prairie Fire's best player 6-2, 6-1.
Rodman is now 9-0 in singles and 9-3 in doubles this season.
