The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced its 2021-22 Outstanding Team Academic Award recipients on Monday and Lake Forest College was among the schools to achieve All-Academic Team status.
To be named an All-Academic Team, program's must have a grade point average of at least 3.0 over the course of the 2021-22 academic year. All players on the roster contribute to the team's GPA, regardless of participation level.
This is the first year Lake Forest has earned the award.
The GCAA also released its list of Division III All-America Scholars last week and Foresters Jack Dwyer and James Johnson made the list.
