The fall portion of the schedule for the 2021-22 Forester men's golf team was released on Friday.
Lake Forest will start the season on Friday, September 3, at the two-day Culver's Edgewood College Fall Classic. The tournament will be played at Glen Erin Golf Club in Janesville, Wisconsin.
The Foresters will also play 36-hole events each of the next two weekends, traveling to West Dundee, Illinois, for the Carthage Fall Classic and to Hartord, Wisconsin, for the WLC Fall Invitational.
After participating in the Elmhurst College Fall Invitational in Oak Brook, Illinois, on Tuesday, September 21, the team will have a weekend off before closing out the fall at the MSOE Invitational in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, October 3-4.
Lake Forest's spring schedule, which will include the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship Tournament, will be released at a later date.
The Foresters finished ahead of nearly 60 percent of the competition in eight tournaments in the spring of 2021. Under the direction of Brian Bruha, Lake Forest's only head coach since the rebirth of the program in 2014, the team placed third in its first appearance at the SLIAC Championships.
