The Golf Coaches Association of American announced the 2021-22 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars for NCAA Division III on Thursday and a pair of Foresters made the list.
To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status, a Division III player must be a sophomore, junior, or senior both academically and athletically. In addition, they must participate in 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 79.0, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
140 NCAA Division III athletes from 56 schools earned 2021-22 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar honors.
Jack Dwyer led Lake Forest with a scoring average of 77.48 in 2021-22 while Johnson was second at 78.70. Both players just completed their junior year at the College and are majoring in finance. Last month they were also named to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic Team for the second straight season.
