The Forester volleyball team was defeated 25-19, 25-15, 25-22 at St. Norbert College on Saturday. Lake Forest junior setter Torie Pasiewicz led all players with 19 assists and her 12 digs tied for match-high honors.
Pasiewicz now has 1,694 assists in her career, just six shy of Amy Valentine (1993-96) for sixth place in program history.
Sophomore Erin Sully and freshman Brittany Avonts led Lake Forest with eight kills apiece. Avonts also had a season-high seven blocks, including four solos. Sophomore Brianne Honda matched Pasiewicz with a dozen digs.
The Foresters fell to 10-13 overall this season and 4-3 in Midwest Conference play. St. Norbert is now 10-14 overall and the Green Knights' 4-2 record in league play is good for fourth in the standings.
Lake Forest will host Illinois College next Saturday afternoon at 1:00. It will be Parents Day for the Foresters.
