For the third time this season, the Women's Forester Athlete of the Week honors go to cross country's Madeline Morland.
Morland raced to a runner-up finish in the Midwest Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday. Her placement earned her her first All-Conference honor, and she matched the best finish in program history in the women's 6-kilometer race. She completed the course in 23:18.79, nearly 20 seconds ahead of the third place finisher.
Morland will have the opportunity to race again at the NCAA Division III Regional Meet on Saturday, November 13 for the chance to qualify for the DIII National Meet.
The Forester Athletes of the Week are voted for by the athletic department on Tuesdays.
