For her performance at the Gene Davis Invitational on Saturday, Madeline Morland was named Women's Forester Athlete of the Week.
The Forester junior was the runner-up in the women's race, completing the 6-kilometer course in 23:29.6, a season best time for Morland. The only woman to out-race her in the event is currently ranked number one in the Conference.
This is the second time this season that Morland has earned Forester Athlete of the Week; the first was on September 14.
The Forester Athletes of the Week are voted for by the Athletic Department on Tuesdays.
