The 2010 All-Midwest Conference Women's Soccer Teams were announced on Thursday. Lake Forest sophomore forwards Becky Esrock and Lisa Sorensen and senior defender Emily Weber were named to the First Team and senior midfielder Bianca Greene was a Second Team selection.
Esrock led the Foresters with 13 goals and 32 points this season. She finished third in the MWC in points and tied-for-third in goals. She is tied for fifth in team history with 33 career goals and ranks eighth with 79 points after just two seasons.
Sorensen completed the 2010 season with 26 points on 10 goals and six assists. Those totals ranked sixth and tied-for-seventh, respectively, in the conference. She is tied for 12th in program history with 63 career points.
Weber had 14 points on four goals and six assists from her position on defense this season. She was named the MWC Defensive Player of the Week twice in 2010 and five times in her career.
Greene also scored four goals this year and led Lake Forest with nine assists. She finished her career with 36 assists, one shy of the team record, and her 62 points are tied for 14th in team annals.
Lake Forest was 11-8-0 overall this season and finished second in the MWC standings with a 7-2-0 league record.
