Chris Madson Named to NABC Honors Court
July 17, 2013The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) today announced the NABC Honors Court, recognizing those collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the 2012-13 season. Lake Forest College's Chris Madson earned the honor following his senior year.

Spring Athletic Alumni Challenge
April 16, 2013Forester Athletics and the F.A.N. Club invite all former athletes and their families to participate in the 2013 Spring Athletic Alumni Challenge, which will take place on Saturday, April 27. “This day provides such a great opportunity for former players to come back to campus and not only play in a game together, but share their life experiences with our current student-athletes,” explains Athletic Director Jackie Slaats

February 16, 2013The Lake Forest College men's basketball team was defeated 64-61 at Monmouth College on Saturday in the final game of the season for both teams. Forester junior forward Bledi Dervishi shot 6-for-6 from the field and finished with 12 points off the bench for the visitors.

February 02, 2013The Lake Forest College men's basketball team defeated visiting Knox College 71-53 Saturday afternoon to finish off a season sweep of the Prairie Fire. Forester sophomore forward Brian Madson made five three-pointers and matched his career-high with 24 points.

Foresters Playing for a Cure on Saturday
January 30, 2013The Lake Forest College basketball teams will be Playing for A Cure on February 2 when they host conference opponent Knox College at 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. Playing for A Cure is sponsored by Forester Athletics, Lake Forest College Relay for Life, the Midwest Conference and the American Cancer Society. Look for the Playing for A Cure table outside the gymnasium and make a donation toward cancer research and awareness!

January 29, 2013The Lake Forest College men's basketball team posted a 71-61 overtime victory over Beloit College at home Tuesday night. Forester senior guard Jeff Beck scored a game-high 22 points and added six rebounds, six assists, and four steals in the contest.
