March 15, 2014The Lake Forest College women's hockey team was defeated 4-1 by host University of Wisconsin-River Falls Saturday in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament. Sophomore defenseman Alex Stensland scored her third goal of the season for the Foresters.

March 07, 2014The Lake Forest College women's hockey team edged out visiting Adrian College 2-1 on Friday in the semifinals of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Slaats Cup Playoffs. Senior goaltender Stacey Dierking made 27 saves to help the Foresters reach the NCHA tourney final for the first time in team history.

March 06, 2014The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association announced its end-of-season awards for women's hockey on Thursday. Forester Michelle Greeneway was named NCHA Player of the Year and Carisa Zaban the league's Co-Coach of the Year. Lake Forest's Morgan Pope and Alex Stensland joined Greeneway on the all-conference team.

Lake Forest Set to Host Final Two Rounds of Slaats Cup Tournament
March 03, 2014The Forester women's hockey team's victory at Marian University on February 22 secured the second regular season conference championship in team history. Lake Forest also earned the right to host the final two rounds of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Slaats Cup Tournament March 7-8. After last weekend's quarterfinal games, Friday's semifinal match-ups are set.

Foresters Edge Out Marian, Capture NCHA Regular Season Title
February 22, 2014The Lake Forest College women's hockey team, ranked 10th in the nation by D3hockey.com, held on for a 3-2 victory at Marian University on Saturday to claim at least a share of the 2014 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association championship. A loss by the College of St. Scholastica at St. Norbert College later in the afternoon clinched the Foresters' second outright title in team history.

Foresters Win at Concordia Wisconsin, Clinch First Round Bye in NCHA Playoffs
February 21, 2014The Lake Forest College women's hockey team outscored host Concordia University Wisconsin 4-1 Friday night. Forester senior goaltender Stacey Dierking stopped 32 of 33 shots on goal to earn the victory.

Lake Forest Falls at Nation's Sixth-Ranked Team
February 09, 2014The Forester women's hockey team dropped its final non-conference game of the regular season, a 7-1 loss at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Sunday. Junior forward Marissa Weber scored to give the visitors a 1-0 lead early in the second period but the sixth-ranked team in the nation netted seven goals in the game's final 26 minutes.
