Senior swimmer Max Rowland was named Men's Forester Athlete of the Week on Tuesday for his performance at the Midwest Conference Championship over the weekend.
Rowland won the 400-Individual Medley in a time of 4:02.30, which is the second fastest time in team history. He also contributed to the winning 800-Freestyle Relay; the time posted in that event ranks third in team annals.
Rowland also broke his own school record in the 500-Freestyle, lowering the mark to 4:35.23; he placed second overall in the event. He was also runner up in the 1650-Freestyle.
Forester Athletes of the Week are voted for by the athletic department on Tuesdays.
