The Lake Forest College men's soccer team's eight-game winning streak in Midwest Conference play came to an end on Sunday after the Foresters fell 2-0 at Knox College.
The Prairie Fire took the lead at the 14:27 mark and led 1-0 at halftime despite being outshot 8-5 in the game's first 45 minutes.
The home team had a 10-3 edge in shots after halftime and added an insurance goal at 66:10.
The loss evened the Foresters' overall record on the season at 7-7-1 and dropped their league mark to 5-1-0. Knox improved to 11-3-2 overall and 6-1-0 in the conference.
