Despite out-shooting Ripon 11-6 in the game, the Lake Forest
College men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to the visiting
Red Hawks on Saturday. The Foresters fell to 1-2-0 overall and
1-1-0 in Midwest Conference play this season while Ripon moved to
4-0-0 overall in its league opener.
Lake Forest senior goalkeeper Tom Biesiada recorded a pair of
saves in the contest and nearly reached the penalty kick at
66:14 that accounted for the game's only goal.
The Foresters will be back in action again on Tuesday when they
host Concordia University Chicago at 4:30 p.m.
