Thomas Bark Repeats as Team's Most Valuable PlayerMarch 25, 2012The Lake Forest College Athletic Department held its annual Winter Sports Awards Ceremony on Sunday, March 25, at the First Presbyterian Church in Lake Forest. Among the many awards given out were plaques for each sport's Most Valuable and Most Improved Performers. Junior forward Thomas Bark was selected as the Most Valuable Player of the Forester men's hockey for the second year in a row. Freshman Bobby Barrett was chosen as the team's Most Improved Player.

Foresters Defeat MSOE 6-4 to Even MCHA Quarterfinal Series before Falling in MinigameFebruary 26, 2012The Lake Forest College men's hockey team came back to defeated host Milwaukee School of Engineering 6-4 Sunday afternoon in their Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association quarterfinal series. M.S.O.E., however, won what was supposed to be a 20-minute minigame 1-0 after more than 51 minutes of play.

Foresters Defeat Lawrence, Clinch Spot in MCHA TournamentFebruary 17, 2012The Lake Forest College men's hockey team defeated visiting Lawrence University 5-2 Friday night to secure a spot in the six-team Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association Tournament. Forester junior goaltender Brendan Sullivan turned away 41 of 43 shots on goal in the victory.
