For their performances in their competitions last week, Ali Graham of women's lacrosse and Ryan Higgins of men's golf were announced on Tuesday as this week's Forester Athletes of the Week.
In the Foresters' 16-14 loss to Saint Benedict on Wednesday, Graham led the team with 11 draw controls and five shots on goal that resulted in four goals. She also put up career highs of six goals, six caused turnovers, and nine ground balls in the team's win against Cornell College on Saturday.
Higgins began the week by tying for eighth out of 98 players with a 76 at Monday's Judson Invitational. His best performance was in Friday's Forester Spring Invite when he carded an even-par 72 to tie for fourth in the 111-player field. Higgins added a 74 in Sunday's WLC Spring Invitational as Lake Forest shattered the program record with a team score of 289.
Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by a vote of athletic department staff on Tuesdays. This is the second time both Graham and Higgins have earned the distinction. Graham was honored on May 3, 2022, and Higgins previously won on September 13, 2022.
