April 25, 2016On Thursday, April 21, President Steve Schutt and Athletic Director, Jackie Slaats, hosted a dinner at Glen Rowan House to recognize this year’s “A-Team” honorees. The A-Team is comprised of student-athletes who received straight A’s in either the 2015 fall or 2015 spring semester.

Ricky Schmidt Earns Medalist Honors as Foresters Place Third at St. Norbert
April 24, 2016Freshman Ricky Schmidt won a scorecard playoff to claim medalist honors as the Lake Forest College men's golf team finished third at the two-day St. Norbert College Invitational over the weekend. The Foresters' score of 307 on Sunday was the best in the eight-team field.

Another Fantastic Fall in the Forest
November 24, 2015Two Forester teams captured Midwest Conference championships and another advanced to the NCAA Tournament in the fall of 2015. Lake Forest's eight fall sports combined for a .606 overall winning percentage and a .744 mark in league play. Individual Foresters earned 29 all-conference honors and set or tied 24 program records.

September 26, 2015The Forester men's golf team placed 20th out of 31 teams at the Midwest Region Fall Classic over the weekend. Freshman Parker Hill led Lake Forest both days and finished in a tie for 11th place overall.

Foresters Climb the Standings, Finish Fifth at WLC Fall Invitational
September 21, 2015The Lake Forest College men's golf team improved 13 strokes from Sunday to Monday and climbed from eight place to fifth at the Wisconsin Lutheran College Fall Invitational. Sophomores Durham Ghelfi and Davis DeKorte combined for six birdies and an eagle on day two and posted two of the 12 best rounds in the 84-player field.

Foresters Finish 10th at Tim Kopka Memorial Tournament
September 12, 2015The Lake Forest College men's golf team began the year by placing 10th out of 19 teams at Carthage College's Tim Kopka Memorial Tournament on Saturday. Sophomore Durham Ghelfi tied for third place out of 103 competitors with a two-day score of 146.
