The league announced the 2014-15 Academic All-MWC honorees on Tuesday.

A Home Run for HunnicuttJune 18, 2015More than 50 percent of Lake Forest students are athletes, but none have the kind of resume that Ray Hunnicutt does. Drafted to play for the Baltimore Orioles right out of high school, Hunnicutt spent two seasons playing Minor League baseball before transferring to Lake Forest. Now, Hunnicutt is a guard for Lake Forest Men’s Basketball.

Legendary Coach Dick Triptow Passes Away at Age 92February 26, 2015Dick Triptow, who coached four different sports during his 14 years as a member of the Lake Forest College Athletic Department, passed away over the weekend in Lake Forest after a brief battle with pneumonia. He was 92 years old.

Sophomore forward Jim Schick and freshman guard Danny Nikitas combined to score more than half of Lake Forest's points on the afternoon.

Lake Forest Unable to Keep Up at St. NorbertFebruary 10, 2015The Forester men's basketball team dropped a 93-80 decision at St. Norbert College, the seventh-ranked team in the nation, Tuesday night. Lake Forest sophomore guard Andrew Toth knocked down five three-pointers and led all players in the contest with a career-high 24 points.

Forester freshman guard Danny Nikitas led all players in the game with a career-high 27 points and he knocked down a program record eight three-pointers in the contest.

Big Second Half for Davis Lifts Lake Forest over BeloitJanuary 07, 2015The Forester men's basketball team edged out visiting Beloit College 63-61 on a basket by junior forward Torrey Davis with just seven-tenths of a second on the clock. Davis scored a career-high 26 points on the night, including 19 of Lake Forest's 31 after halftime.
