    The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) today announced the 2014-15 NABC Honors Court, which included Lake Forest College's Brian Madson, Chase Janer, and Mason Zuniga.

    After an historic year in athletic competition, Lake Forest College teams added yet another school record by earning the most Academic All-Midwest Conference awards in school history. The league announced the 2014-15 Academic All-MWC honorees on Tuesday.
  • A Home Run for Hunnicutt

    More than 50 percent of Lake Forest students are athletes, but none have the kind of resume that Ray Hunnicutt does. Drafted to play for the Baltimore Orioles right out of high school, Hunnicutt spent two seasons playing Minor League baseball before transferring to Lake Forest. Now, Hunnicutt is a guard for Lake Forest Men’s Basketball.

  • Legendary Coach Dick Triptow Passes Away at Age 92

    Dick Triptow, who coached four different sports during his 14 years as a member of the Lake Forest College Athletic Department, passed away over the weekend in Lake Forest after a brief battle with pneumonia. He was 92 years old.

    The Forester men's basketball team was defeated 75-61 at Carroll University on Saturday in the final game of the season for's the visitors. Sophomore forward Jim Schick and freshman guard Danny Nikitas combined to score more than half of Lake Forest's points on the afternoon.

    The Lake Forest College men's basketball team outscored visiting Grinnell College 101-94 and out-rebounded the Pioneers 67-37 on Saturday. Junior guard Austin Terry was one of three Foresters to record a double-double in the contest.

    The Forester men's basketball team dropped a 93-80 decision at St. Norbert College, the seventh-ranked team in the nation, Tuesday night. Lake Forest sophomore guard Andrew Toth knocked down five three-pointers and led all players in the contest with a career-high 24 points.
