D3hoops.com released its 2009-10 All-Region basketball teams on
Tuesday (March 16) and Lake Forest College's Travis Clark
(Evanston, Ill./Evanston) made the list.
Clark, a sophomore post player, was a Second Team All-Midwest
Region selection after finishing second in the nation with a team
record .686 field goal percentage. He also led the Foresters with
17.6 points and 9.0 rebounds per contest and 32 blocked shots while
ranking secod on the squad with 52 assists and 23 steals. Clark
reached double figures in both points and rebounds in exactly half
of the team's 24 games.
The D3hoop.com All-Region Teams are chosen by select sports
information directors around the country, each voting for players
within the region. Nationwide, a record 676 players were nominated.
The Midwest Region's five-member First, Second, and Third Teams are
each made up of three frontcourt and two backcourt players.
