Four Foresters Named All-Great Lakes RegionMay 26, 2015The National Fastpitch Coaches Association released its 2015 Division III All-Region Teams and Lake Forest College's Jessi Werner, Sally Snarski, Kaleigh Ambrose, and Alex Hemmer made the lists. It was the first time the Foresters had as many as four all-region honorees since 2006.

Foresters NCAA Tourney Run Finally Comes to an EndMay 16, 2015After storybook finishes in last week's NCAA Division III Regional Tournament, the Lake Forest College softball team was unable to come back again against visiting Alma College in the Super Regional this weekend. Alma took game two 7-1 on Saturday to sweep the best-of-three series and advance to the NCAA Division III Finals.

Lake Forest Selected to Host NCAA Super-RegionalMay 10, 2015After eliminating three top-25 teams from the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament last Friday and Saturday, the Forester softball team will host Alma College in the Super Regionals this weekend. The best-of-three series will begin Friday at 4:00 p.m. and game two is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at 1:00. If necessary, a decisive third game will be played Saturday at 3:30.

Foresters Win Three Times, Claim NCAA Regional Tournament TitleMay 09, 2015The Lake Forest College softball team finished off a 2-1 victory over North Central College before defeating Hope College 4-1 and 2-0 at home on Saturday to win the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament title. Forester sophomore pitcher Jenny McTague earned the win in all three games and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player.

Foresters Survive at NCAA TournamentMay 08, 2015The Lake Forest College softball team scored a dramatic 3-2, 11-inning victory over visiting University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and had a 2-1 lead over North Central College when play was suspended due to lightning on Friday . The game will resume Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with the winner advancing to play Hope College in the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament championship round.

Foresters Begin NCAA Tourney with Heartbreaking Loss to North CentralMay 07, 2015For the first time in program history, the Lake Forest College softball team is hosting an NCAA Division III Regional Tournament. The Foresters were defeated 3-2 by North Central College on Thursday in the opening round, despite three base hits, including a run-scoring single, by freshman leftfielder Sydney Gardner.

Foresters to Host NCAA Division III Regional TournamentMay 04, 2015The 2015 NCAA Division III Softball Tournament will begin this week and Lake Forest College will be one of 16 schools hosting regional competition. The double-elimination event will run from Thursday through Satutrday with the Foresters taking on North Central College and the Univeristy of Wisconsin-Whitewater playing Hope College on day one.

Foresters Shut Out Lawrence to Repeat as MWC ChampionsMay 02, 2015The Lake Forest College softball team won 5-0 at Lawrence University on Saturday to claim the program's second straight Midwest Conference championship and the eighth league title in school history. The Foresters outscored their three MWC Tournament opponents by a combined score of 12-0.

Eight Foresters Named All-MWC, Including Pitcher of the year Jessi WernerMay 02, 2015The Midwest Conference announced the 2015 All-MWC softball teams on Saturday and eight Foresters made the list. MWC Pitcher of the Year Jessi Werner was joined on the First Team by Kaleigh Ambrose, Alex Hemmer, Jenny McTague, and Sally Snarski while Kat Beall, Kayla Borgra, and Sydney Gardner earned Second Team honors.

Foresters Shut Out Carroll and Lawrence to Advance to MWC Tourney ChampionshipMay 01, 2015Behind a pair of stellar pitching performances, the Lake Forest College softball team posted a 4-0 victory over Carroll University and a 3-0 triumph over host Lawrence University Friday at the Midwest Conference Championship Tournament. Junior Jessi Werner tossed a perfect game against Carroll and earned the save against Lawrence.

Foresters Split at Cornell, Finish First in MWC South AgainApril 26, 2015The Lake Forest College softball team split a doubleheader at Cornell College on Sunday, falling 3-2 in the opener before winning game two 7-1. The Foresters also clinched first place in the Midwest Conference South Division standings for the ninth time in the last 10 years. Freshman shortstop Kat Beall led the visitors with four base hits on the day.

Lake Forest Wins Twice at GrinnellApril 25, 2015After a weather delay of nearly two hours, the Forester softball team prevailed 2-0 and 6-1 at Grinnell College on Saturday. Lake Forest junior pitcher Jessi Werner tossed a shutout in the opener and moved into sole possession of second place in program history with 39 career victories.

Kinsella's 300th Career Win Clinches MWC Tourney Berth for ForestersApril 18, 2015The Lake Forest College softball team swept visiting Monmouth College 9-3 and 5-1 on Saturday to clinch a spot in the 2015 Midwest Conference Championship Tournament. Forester junior Jessi Werner and sophomore Jenny McTague combined to strike out 17 batters and allow just nine base hits on the day.

Junior second baseman Vasi Panos had a career-high four base hits in Lake Forest's first game of the day and belted her second home run of the year in the second.

Forester sophomore pitched Jenny McTague tossed a shutout and went 3-for-3 at the plate in the first game of the day and earned a save by recording the final seven outs in the second.

Foresters Begin MWC Classic with Convincing Win over BeloitApril 10, 2015The 2015 Midwest Conference Classic began on Friday and the Lake Forest College softball team defeated Beloit College 23-1 in its only game of the day. The Foresters' starting infield combined to go 10-for-11 with two home runs, a double, 11 runs scored, and nine driven in.

Foresters Split Doubleheader with CarthageApril 06, 2015A 5-4 loss in game one of Lake Forest College's doubleheader against visiting Carthage College on Monday ended the Foresters' eight-game winning streak, but the home team rebounded with a 10-6 victory in game two. Lake Forest junior catcher Alex Hemmer went 5-for-8 with three runs scored and four driven in on the day.
