Lake Forest College men's tennis player Dan Pivonka was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Tuesday for his performance in the team's 8-1 victory over visiting Concordia University Wisconsin Friday night.
Pivonka, a freshman, teamed up with sophomore Ellis Lora-Arceo to edge out the #1 doubles team from Concordia Wisconsin 8-6. The duo is now 3-2 since partnering up in mid-February. Pivonka then blanked the Falcons' top singles player 6-0, 6-0, raising his singles record this spring to 5-3.
The Foresters' victory evened their record on the season at 4-4.
