Record Breaking Number of Student-Athletes Earn A-Team Honors
April 25, 2016On Thursday, April 21, President Steve Schutt and Athletic Director, Jackie Slaats, hosted a dinner at Glen Rowan House to recognize this year’s “A-Team” honorees. The A-Team is comprised of student-athletes who received straight A’s in either the 2015 fall or 2015 spring semester.

Another Fantastic Fall in the Forest
November 24, 2015Two Forester teams captured Midwest Conference championships and another advanced to the NCAA Tournament in the fall of 2015. Lake Forest's eight fall sports combined for a .606 overall winning percentage and a .744 mark in league play. Individual Foresters earned 29 all-conference honors and set or tied 24 program records.

Wheaton's Last-Minute Goal Knocks Foresters Out of NCAA Tournament
November 13, 2015The Lake Forest College men's soccer team was defeated 3-2 at Wheaton College in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Tournament on Friday. The Foresters, who were making their second trip to the national tournament in the last three years, finished the season 13-7-1.

Hartman is Player of the Year, Three Other Foresters Second Team All-MWC
November 12, 2015Forester Dylan Hartman was named Midwest Conference Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year while teammates Ellis Rutili, Elyas Ingram, and John Palutsis were recognized as Second Team All-MWC selections by the league on Thursday.

Foresters Win MWC Tournament Final, Advance to NCAA Tournament
November 07, 2015A go-ahead goal with just 1:14 to play gave the Lake Forest College men's soccer team a 2-1 triumph over Knox College in the championship game of the 2015 Midwest Conference Tournament on Saturday. The Foresters also earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament, which will begin next weekend.

Foresters Advance to MWC Tournament Final on Penalty Kicks
November 06, 2015Freshman goalkeeper Elvin Husetovic's save in the sixth round of penalty kicks on Friday sent the Lake Forest College men's soccer team to the final of the 2015 Midwest Conference Tournament. Lake Forest and host St. Norbert College were tied 1-1 at the end of regulation and a pair of 10-minute overtimes.

October 25, 2015The Lake Forest College men's soccer team improved to 6-2-0 in Midwest Conference play this season by defeating Lawrence University 2-0 at home on Sunday. Forester senior defender Jeremiah Erzen's first goal of the season broke a scoreless tie in the game's 50th minute.

Two Individuals and a Team Inducted into Forester Athletic Hall of Fame
October 12, 2015Lake Forest College Homecoming and Reunion Weekend was October 8-10. Among the weekend's many events was the annual Athletic Recognition Ceremony, which included the induction of Mei-Yun Gibson '05, Alissa Mildebrath Kingsley '05, and the 1975 Men's Soccer Team into the Forester Athletic Hall of Fame.
