The Forester men's golf team sits in 13th place at the Milwaukee School of Engineering Invite after the first of two days of competition. Freshmen Durham Ghelfi and Christopher Rockers each shot an 86 to lead Lake Forest on Sunday.
Ghelfi and Rockers are tied for 51st place in the 74-player field. Sophomore Matthew Weidner trails them by two strokes after posting a score of 88 and senior benjamin Certo was next on the team after posting a 96.
Central College's team score of 293 leads the standings and Carthage College is seven shots back in second place.
Lake Forest will look to climb the standings on Monday. The Foresters' day one total of 356 trails Rockford College by just one stroke and Finlandia University by five.
