Ted Soenksen Returns to Lake Forest to Coach the Offensive LineApril 06, 2011Ted Soenksen, who graduated from Lake Forest in 2006, returned to the College this past winter as an assistant football coach. He will direct the team's offensive linemen in 2011.

Kevin Canty resigns, Craig Kerr Promoted to Offensive CoordinatorDecember 10, 2010Athletic Director Jackie Slaats and Head Football Coach Jim Catanzaro announced the resignation of offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Kevin Canty from the Forester football coaching staff late last week. Earlier today, they announced the promotion of current assistant coach Craig Kerr to the position.

42 Forester Fall Athletes Named Academic All-MWCDecember 09, 2010The Midwest Conference announced its Academic All-MWC honorees for the fall of 2010 on Thursday. Lake Forest College had 42 student-athletes earn the honor, the most in any season in school history.

Six Foresters Listed on All-Midwest Conference TeamsNovember 17, 2010The 2010 All-Midwest Conference football teams were released Wednesday. Junior defensive lineman Kenneth Clady Mason and senior kicker Tim Gruzwalski earned Second Team honors and four other Foresters were Honorable Mention status.

Catanzaro to Lead Foresters Again in 2011November 09, 2010Lake Forest College will wait until the end of the 2011 football season to conduct a national search for the Forester head football coaching position, Athletic Director Jackie Slaats announced on Tuesday. The search was originally scheduled for December 2010.

Forester Turnovers Result in Loss at MonmouthOctober 16, 2010The Lake Forest College football team was defeated 27-10 at Monmouth College on Saturday. Junior safety Luke Butts (game-high 13 tackles) and the rest of the Forester defense limited the Fighting Scots to just 12 first downs and 278 yards of offense but five turnovers by the visitors decided the game.

Foresters Suffer Homecoming Heartbreaker against BeloitOctober 09, 2010The Lake Forest College football team erased a 24-7 deficit but eventually fell 33-27 in overtime to Beloit College on Saturday. The Forester defense forced five turnovers and recorded 14 tackles for loss, including five sacks, in the heartbreaking Homecoming loss.
