Lake Forest College Head Football Coach Jim Catanzaro will be on the sideline this Saturday on the coaching staff at the All-American Bowl in Minneapolis.
The All-American Bowl gives select players that do not compete at the NCAA Division I level an opportunity to showcase their talents in an all-star game environment. This year's games (12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.) will be played at the University of Minnesota's Gibson/Nagurski Practice Football Facility due to the recent damages to the Metrodome, the All-American Bowl's home the last 16 years.
An NCAA athlete must have have completed his collegiate career to participate in the game. This year's rosters includes eight individuals Catanzaro coached against in 2010. Four players were selected from Concordia University Chicago, three from Ripon College, and one from Monmouth College.
Catanzaro will serve as the defensive coordinator for the "Stripes" team, which will play against the "Stars."
