The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced its final 2020-21 rankings on Wednesday and Lake Forest College's Julie Lord and Tyranny Miller were among the players listed in the Central Region.
Lord and Miller finished their senior season as the 15th-ranked doubles team in the Central Region. They were 8-1 during the year and dropped no more than four games in any of their first eight matches. The duo was a perfect 5-0 in Midwest Conference North Division play, outscoring the top tandems from the rest of the division by a combined score of 40-8.
Lord and Miller graduated as two of the most successful players in program history. Despite having their junior and senior seasons shortened by the pandemic, Lord ranks third in team annals with 135 victories in singles and doubles combined, while Miller is sixth with 130. Lord has more triumphs at #1 singles than any other Forester and Miller's .826 winning percentage in doubles over the last four years is the highest mark in school history.
This is the second straight season Lord finished as a regionally ranked doubles player, having also made the list with Leeza Bodnar in 2019-20.
