The Midwest Conference released the 2009-10 All-MWC basketball
teams on Monday (March 1) and Lake Forest College's Lisa Nassin
(Evergreen Park, Ill./Evergreen Park) was a First Team selection
for the second year in a row.
Nassin led the conference with 16.7 points per game and ranked
second with a .602 field goal percentage. She also finished eighth
in rebounding (6.6 rpg.) and blocked shots (14). She led the
Foresters in all the categories listed above and ranked third in
assists and tied-for-fifth in steals. Nassin finished her career
with the highest shooting percentage (.574) in team history and
ranks fifth with 1,090 points.
The Foresters finished the season with an overall record of 15-9
and their 11-5 mark in conference play was third in the
standings.
The All-MWC teams are selected by the league's head coaches. Six
players were listed on the First Team and six more on the Second
Team.
