Saturday's weather reduced this weekend's Culver's Edgewood Fall Classic to an 18-hole event and the Foresters tied for eighth in the 21-team event.
Lake Forest was led by sophomore Luke Duffer, whose career-best round of 75 tied him for 12th place at the 114-player event. Duffer carded 10 pars and a pair of birdies on the 6,849-yard par-71 course at Glen Erin Golf Club in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Senior Jack Dwyer was next on the team and tied-for-30th overall with a 78 while classmate James Johnson and sophomore Chris Petri tied for 42nd place with matching rounds of 80.
Carthage College finished first in the team standings with a score of 301, two shots better than runner-up University of Wisconsin-Stout. The Foresters' round of 313 tied them with Milwaukee School of Engineering.
