Lake Forest College football player Alex Pasiewicz was named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week on Monday for his performance in the Foresters' 53-13 victory at Grinnell College on Saturday.

Pasiewicz, a senior wide receiver, set a program record by catching four tochdown passes in the game. He reached the end zone on a 77-yard completion to tie the score at seven in the first quarter and then covered 12 yards on two touchdown receptions and 71 on the other in the second quarter. He finished the first half and the game with six receptions and his 184 yards are the fifth-highest single-game total in team history.

In addition to his exploits on offense, Pasieiwcz added a 59-yard punt return touchdown late in the first half to become the first player in school history with multiple scores on punt returns.

Pasiewicz finished the season ranked sixth in program history with 865 receiving yards, fourth with 98 points, and tied-for-fourth wth 11 touchdown catches. He also set team records for kickoff return yardage and kickoff and punt return touchdowns.

MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league's director of media and information. Pasiewicz also earned the conference's weekly honor for his performance on special teams three times this year.
