Foresters Finish Off 2014-15 with Record Number of Academic All-Conference Honorees

Cornell Ends Lake Forest's Season at MWC Tournament
November 07, 2014The Forester volleyball team was defeated in three sets at Midwest Conference champion Cornell College in the semifinals of the MWC Tournament Friday night. Lake Forest senior setter Torie Pasiewicz had 16 assists on the night and 2,492 in her career.

November 05, 2014The Lake Forest College volleyball team finished 7-3 in Midwest Conference play to earn a spot in this weekend's four-team MWC Tournament. The event will be hosted by league champion Cornell College, the Foresters' opponent in the semifinals Friday night at 7:00.

Victory at Ripon Sends Foresters to MWC Tournament
October 31, 2014The Lake Forest College volleyball team prevailed 25-21, 25-15, 19-25, 25-20 at Ripon College in its regular season finale Friday night. The victory clinched the fourth and final seed in next weekend's Midwest Conference Tournament for the Foresters, who were led by junior Paige Jespersen's 13 kills on the night.

October 25, 2014The Lake Forest College volleyball team won a five-set thriller Saturday afternoon against visiting Lawrence University in a battle between two contenders for spots in the four-team Midwest Conference Tournament. Senior setter Torie Pasiewicz finished with a season-high 53 assists in the final home match of her career.

October 11, 2014The Lake Forest College volleyball team rallied from a two-set deficit to win 19-25, 21-25, 25-14, 25-16, 15-9 at Knox College on Saturday after winning in five sets at Monmouth College Friday night. Forester senior setter Torie Pasiewicz recorded a season-high 44 assists on Saturday and served up her 100th career ace.

September 26, 2014The Lake Forest College volleyball team posted a 25-17, 25-17, 25-15 victory over Trinity International University at home Friday night. Forester sophomore Paige Jespersen led all players in the match with 11 kills and she added 10 digs for her fourth double-double of the season.

Foresters Split Matches at Red & Black Triangular
September 19, 2014The Lake Forest College volleyball team came out on top in its first five-set match of the season Friday night, edging out Benedictine University 21-25, 25-19, 25-18, 17-25, 15-13. The Foresters' second match of the annual Red & Black Triangular was a 25-18, 17-25, 25-9, 25-12 loss to host North Central College. Sophomores Paige Jespersen and Brittany Avonts combined for 50 kills on the night.

September 17, 2014The Lake Forest College volleyball team won 25-3, 25-6. 25-22 at Mount Mary University Wednesday night. Senior setter finished the match with 20 assists, a team-high nine digs, and a career-high four of the Foresters' 17 aces.
