The Forester women's soccer schedule for the fall of 2021 was released on Wednesday.
Lake Forest will open the season at Edgewood College at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 1, and will also play non-conference night games at Milwaukee School of Engineering, North Park University, and Carroll University during the season.
St. Mary's College (Ind.) will be the Foresters' opponent in their home opener on Saturday, September 4, and the team will be back in action a day later at Concordia University Chicago. Additional non-conference home games against Wisconsin Lutheran College, Blackburn College, and the University of Dubuque are included in a busy start to the season that includes eight games in an 18-day span. An additional non-conference contest against visiting Concordia University Wisconsin is scheduled for later in the year.
The Foresters will celebrate Parents Day during their Midwest Conference opener against Lawrence University on September 25 and Senior Day on October 30, the final day of the regular season. Other MWC home games will be played against Beloit College and Illinois College and Lake Forest will travel to Ripon College, Monmouth College, Cornell College, and Knox College during league play.
The top four teams in the standings will compete in the MWC Tournament November 5-6 with the winner of the event earning the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.
The 2021 season will be head coach T.R. Bell's 25th at the helm of the program and he has more victories than the other eight head coaches in the MWC have at their institutions combined.
