Pat Kelliher Promoted to Head Coach of Forester Men's Hockey Team
May 22, 2014Lake Forest College Director of Athletics Jackie Slaats announced Thursday that Pat Kelliher, an assistant men's hockey coach at the College since 2010, has been promoted to head coach. Kelliher takes over for Ryan McKelvie, whose resignation was also announced on Thursday. -
Ryan McKelvie Resigns as Foresters' Head Men's Hockey Coach
May 22, 2014Lake Forest College Head Men's Hockey Coach Ryan McKelvie announced Thursday that he will not return to direct the team for a fourth season in 2014-15. McKelvie will take over as head coach and director of hockey operations for an expansion U18 team that will play at the junior A tier III level.

Foresters Eliminated by Nation's Top-Ranked Team
March 01, 2014The Lake Forest College men's hockey team had its season come to an end Saturday night after falling 6-0 at St. Norbert College, the nation's top-ranked team. The Foresters finished the season with a 15-12-1 record.

Coach McKelvie, Four Forester Players Listed in NCHA Postseason Awards
February 28, 2014The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association released this year's All-Conference Team on Friday and Foresters Bobby Barrett, Ben Certo, and Leo Podolsky made the list. In addition, Lake Forest College's Jack Lewis was named to the All-Freshmen Team and Ryan McKelvie was named NCHA Coach of the Year.

Foresters Advance to Harris Cup Semifinals in Dramatic Fashion
February 22, 2014The Lake Forest College men's hockey team defeated Marian University 3-2 in overtime in game two of their Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Harris Cup quarterfinal series and then posted a 1-0 overtime victory in the ensuing 20-minute mini-game Saturday night. Junior defenseman Ben Certo's goal sent the Foresters to the Harris Cup semifinals.

Lake Forest Falls 3-2 to Marian in Harris Cup Quarterfinal Series Opener
February 21, 2014The Forester men's hockey team was defeated 3-2 by visiting Marian University Friday night in the opener of the teams' Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Harris Cup quarterfinal series. Senior forward Chris Gard and junior forward Jason McAloon each scored third period goals to pull Lake Forest to within a goal but the home team was unable to complete the comeback.

Foresters to Host Marian this Weekend in Harris Cup Quarterfinals
February 19, 2014The Lake Forest College men's hockey team finished the regular season with a 14-10-1 overall record and an 11-7-0 mark in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play, good for fourth in the league standings. The Foresters will host fifth-place Marian University Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 in the quarterfinals of the NCHA Harris Cup Tournament.

February 08, 2014The Lake Forest College men's hockey team won 4-1 at Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday, completing a weekend home-and-home sweep of the Raiders. Forester junior forward Bobby Barrett scored a pair of goals in the contest and continues to lead the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association in goals and points during league play.

January 23, 2014The Lake Forest College men's hockey team traveled to Concordia University Wisconsin for a rare Thursday night game and came away with a 5-3 victory and sole possession of fourth place in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association standings. Forester sophomore defenseman Will Seeber scored what proved to be the official game-winning goal.

January 18, 2014A goal by freshman forward Anthony Annunziato two minutes and six seconds into overtime gave the Lake Forest College men's hockey team a crucial 4-3 victory over visiting Marian University in their weekend series opener Saturday night. The Foresters are now 5-5-0 in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play this season.

Lake Forest Unable to Hold On against Nation's #3 Team
January 04, 2014Lake Forest College men's hockey team was defeated 4-3 by visiting University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, the third-ranked team in the nation, Saturday night. Freshman forward Zach Mudge gave the home team the early lead but the Foresters were unable to stop the Pointers' comeback.
