Mark Gorogianis

Mark Gorogianis

The 2023 season will be the second for Mark Gorogianis as a member of the Forester coaching staff. He directly oversees the team's wide receivers.

Lake Forest posted an 8-1 record in Midwest Conference play in 2022, claiming a share of the league title and advancing to the NCAA Division III Playoffs. Six different wideouts started at least one game and eight caught at least one touchdown pass. Despite the unit's top player suffering a season-ending injury in the opener, the group combined for 79 receptions for 872 yards and 11 scores.

Gorogianis spent the 2021 season as a graduate assistant coach at Eastern Illinois University, where he worked with the team's wide receivers and tight ends. He was also significantly involved in film breakdown, scouting reports, and position-specific recruinting.

A 2017 graduate of Northwestern University, Gorogianis was a three-year member of the football program and an Academic All-Big Ten honoree. His degree was in economics.

Gorogianis also attended Montini Catholic High School, where he was a quarterback and wide receiver and part of four Illinois 5A state championship-winning teams.
