Foresters Finish Off 2014-15 with Record Number of Academic All-Conference Honorees
July 07, 2015After an historic year in athletic competition, Lake Forest College teams added yet another school record by earning the most Academic All-Midwest Conference awards in school history. The league announced the 2014-15 Academic All-MWC honorees on Tuesday. -

Jackie Slaats to be Inducted into IBCA Hall of Fame on May 2
April 24, 2015In her first year of eligibility, Lake Forest College Director of Athletics and former Head Women's Basketball Coach Jackie Slaats will be inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame at the organization's annual banquet on May 2. The ceremony will be held at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois.

February 21, 2015The Lake Forest College women's basketball team was defeated 64-49 at Carroll University on Saturday. Forester sophomore forward Brittany Avonts scored a career-high 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for her first career double-double.

February 14, 2015The Lake Forest College women's basketball team hosted and defeated Grinnell College 60-59 on Saturday. The Foresters trailed at halftime and did not take the lead until senior guard Jenna Rice connected on a three-pointer with 3:17 to play.

Junior guard Michelle Ricolcol led the Foresters with a dozen points and her free throws with just 4.3 seconds on the clock turned a one-point deficit into a victory.
